Industrial Wastewater Treatment

APTsorb has been in R&D use for the past three years treating industrial waste water applications. One of the greatest challenges has been in one of the U.S.’s premier chrome plating facilities. Working with this facility, APT has been performing specific research adsorbing trivalent chrome, copper, and zinc.  APT is currenlty  partnering with a variety of companies using a wide range of commercial processes to develop “contactor” units that would best serve their respective industrial waste water applications.  Minnesota’s MPCA is supporting APT by making the permitted industrial waste water facilities aware of APT’s technology and various solutions using APTsorb to assist them in remaining within their permitted guidelines.  APT views the treatment of industrial waste water, stormwater, and effluents from mining industries as one of its most important environmental missions.
