APT has developed many environmentally beneficial, peat-based products since the Company’s beginning in 2003.  Our product lines cover many different industries and applications.

The bioAPT line consists of granular, fines, and powdered peat-based natural products.  These products serve many different functions, including carrying microorganisms to field, seed and root coating applications, binding agents, and slurry thickeners.

The APTsorb line of water remediation media continues to grow. The second generation APTsorb is specially suited for runoff and stormwater treatment applications.  APTsorb II works to adsorb dissolved heavy metals including copper, nickel, lead, cadmium, chrome, zinc, aluminum, cobalt, and manganese. The third generation APTsorb product adsorbs those same metals, but has a more active external and internal surface area and higher capacity over APTsorb II.  APTsorb III is also the basis for which future products are being developed.  Our engineering team is in the process of developing new media to target specific issues, such as mercury, phosphorous, sulfate, selenium, boron, uranium, and others.
