American Peat Technology, LLC is truly a technology company.  We have continually devoted our time to improving our current products while pushing toward developing new “peat technologies”.  Our R&D lab has been busy since the companies start and we see no sign of the research or development slowing down or stopping.  There are numerous ideas and many potential products in the queue, waiting for their opportunity to be realized.

This effort has not been solely the work of APT.  Over the years, we have developed partnerships with like-minded entities, which are looking for solutions to particular problems and who believe our products will best be part of the solution to those problems.  The NRRI has been a great resource and partner to APT in further understanding the characteristics of peat and the research behind our APTsorb products for the treatment of dissolved heavy metals in wastewater.  The collaboration efforts between APT and its customers have also pushed the technology we currently have forward and allowed us to pursue other technological advances.
