For us, stewardship is more than a slogan

We at American Peat feel called to share our provision with others.  It is core to our value of stewardship.  APT's intentional giving strategy is focused on four core areas:

1. Employee (and their family's) advancement
2. STEM education
3. Environmental stewardship
4. Local community impact

During our annual budgeting process, we define the dollars we intend to give away over the course of our calendar year.  Organizations that have benefitted from this generosity includes BIO Girls in Crosby, Long Lake Conservation Center in Aitkin County, Deer Hunter's Association, Aitkin County Fairgrounds, Aitkin High School trades and athletic programs, downtown Aitkin development, among others.  In addition, APT has a giving match policy for its employees.  APT matches, dollar-for-dollar, any donation or volunteer hours given by an APT employee to any qualified 501c3 up to a designated amount.
